Leidos Information Assurance Security Engineer - Active TS/SCI required! in SUITLAND, Maryland
Leidos has an opening for a Information Assurance Security Engineer to work in our Suitland, MD office providing support to the Naval Intelligence Information Assurance (NAVINTEL IA) Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO) staff in the mission of SCI system Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance; all work is on-site in Suitland, MD.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Navy Information Technology Enterprise Services / Information Protection mission. In this mission we provide A&A of all SCI systems throughout the Fleet. You will provide expertise to support the DAO and staff to execute the mission. The successful candidate will possess exemplary technical skills and possess results-oriented interpersonal and customer relations expertise. The ability to function in a high-paced, dynamic staff level environment is a must.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide process improvement and documentation supporting both technical and functional activities.
Support the coordination, planning, sustaining and implementation activities of Cyber Intelligence Community programs.
Create and maintain end-user documentation and training materials.

Minimum Required Experience:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below
Active TS/SCI clearance
BS/BA in CS, EE, IT, IA, or related field and 8+years of Security/Systems
Engineering experience OR 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
2+ years of experience with of DIACAP/DoD RMF, DCID 6/3, ICD-503, and/or NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
System and software design, development, integration, testing, system administration, O&M
Technical understanding of DoD, IC, and national level security initiatives, and secure information.
LAN, WAN and Cross Domain Solutions (CDSs) technology experience
Experience implementing and executing software and security engineering practices in the SDLC Process
Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance strategies, SDLC and Software Testing
Knowledge of HBSS, DISA STIGS, ACAS, XACTA and/or ICD 503
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration.
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
Programming or Human Computer Interface Design (HCID) experience
Experience with a formal SDLC process and configuration management tools
Experience with Oracle SOLARIS 10/11 or LINUX
