Human Resources Business Partner responsible for providing Human Resources support, counsel and direction to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) employees. The HR Business Partner will support leaders in Engineering. The business partner will directly lead and manage HR Generalist(s) supporting an organizational size of 1,500 to 2,000 employees. The HR Business Partner will be part of a Human Resources team helping to build strategy, improve organizational performance, and develop organizational capability for Engineering. They will partner with leaders as a coach and architect on topics including organizational effectiveness and change, talent management, organizational learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. They will facilitate the design and delivery of processes that enable the business to meet business objectives. They must be knowledgeable about and have influence on other parts of the organization, be innovative, collaborative and adapt well to change. Additionally they must foster a strong customer service orientation, provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels of the organization. Job Responsibilities: Serves as a consultant and architect on topics focusing on brokering solutions to business problems Provide leadership, mentoring and development to 4-5 HR Generalists Significant knowledge about and ability to influence other parts of the organization Collaborates across Raytheon with other HR professionals and HRBPs in delivering quality support to the customer groups Partners with the RMS Organizational Effectiveness function to execute organizational effectiveness principles and processes Develops Talent Management strategies to include workforce planning, succession planning, and talent acquisition Oversees planning, organizing and administering of Human Resources programs, processes and activities for customer group Focus on employee advocacy by creating a positive employee relations environment and culture Partners with Global Talent Development on strategies to develop and enhance business and technical capabilities for the employee population to include knowledge transfer, career and leadership development. Also responsible for guiding leaders on creating a culture of learning and development Educates leaders and employees on Raytheon’s performance management program Promotes a collaborative team environment by working across multiple functions and business to drive results Develops, fosters and facilitates effective relationships Required Skills: Human Resource knowledge or experience which can include expertise in: employee relations, staffing, talent development, talent management, OE/OD, EEO, Compliance or leading organizational change Must be capable of serving as the primary Human Resource consultant to senior leaders on key business initiatives Experience managing teams with a direct reporting relationship to include responsibility for performance development and performance management Ability to partner and influence at senior leadership level within the business with a proven ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with colleagues, direct reports, and internal customers Required Education & Experience: 10 years’ experience with related Bachelors’ degree, preferably Business or Human Resources, or 8 years’ experience with related Masters’ degree, or 6 years’ experience with related PhD Desired Skills & Certifications: Ability to comprehend, explain and develop policies in all areas of Human Resources. Demonstrated evidence of detail-oriented, multitasking skills and effective project management skills Professional in Human Resources, (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources(SPHR) Defense Industry Experience Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to all levels of the organization which are specific to: Writing clearly and succinctly and in a manner that is clear to a wide audience Listening carefully Developing an engaging rapport with the customer Adjusting communication style to suit the audience Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities 111911
