nMain Duties & Responsibilitiesn

n

n Essential Duties and Responsibilities: n

n

n

n

+ Comply with all safety procedures.


n

+ Tasks require a high level of skill with a variety of hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and machinery.


n

+ Perform complex and precise electro-mechanical assembly work.


n

+ Have the ability to retain new information obtained in the learning process.


n

+ Interpret detailed blue prints and flow sheets "P&ID'S" and apply to package.


n

+ Follow written and verbal instructions.


n

+ Respect the decisions of their lead and supervisor.


n

+ Assemble compressor packages according to standard procedures


n

+ Responsible for quality activities, including self inspection, and inspection.


n

+ Clean-up production areas as required.


n

+ Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times.


n

+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area.


n

+ Works with minimal supervision.




n

nQualificationsn

n

n Education and Experience :



n

+ High School Diploma


n

+ Two to three years of experience in compressor packaging or related assembly process.


n

+ Must be efficient in at least two of the following areas - skid layouts, screw pipe, tubing, or electrical, with some knowledge of the other two areas.


n

+ Must be able to do minor bracket welds with flux-core.


n

+ Must be able to read GA and Flow sheets. In some case wiring schematics.




n Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: n

+ Mechanical background


n

+ Previous shop experience


n

+ Forklift driving


n

+ Vocational or high school training in automotive mechanics helpful but not necessary


n

+ Must know how to use mechanic hand tools and some power tools.


n

+ Able to thread pipe with automatic pipe threading machine.


n

+ Work with pipe wrenches and properly install threaded fittings.


n

+ Minimum welding experience. Able to MIG tack weld bracing.


n

+ Must know how to read precision measuring instruments, read instruction books and manuals and ability to comprehend assembly drawings

n




n Physical Demands :n

+ Regularly required to stand, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.




n Personal Protective Equipment: n

n

+ Eye Protection consists of goggles, face shield or safety glasses.


n

+ Steel Toe Safety Shoe/Boot required.

+ Warehouse Environment.
