The Department of Labor & Industries is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Research Analyst 2, to join the Safety & Health Assessment & Research for Prevention (SHARP) Program under the supervision of the Senior Epidemiologist. Our ideal candidate will serve as the research analyst on a SHARP research study that will address the high injury rates of the janitorial workforce -- the Washington State Janitorial Study. We are searching for an organized individual who can carry out assigned phases of the research project. We need a bilingual individual to transcribe recording from focus groups, translate research and outreach materials and interviews with Spanish speaking workers. Our selected candidate will support the L&l's Mission of Keeping Washington Safe and Working by conducting research to reduce the injury rate in janitors and foster a culture of safety.
