Position Summary:

Must be physically able to manually move furnishings and equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning techniques. Good communication and time management skills preferred. Computer skills preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • Able to perform proper cleaning techniques and procedures when cleaning patient rooms, offices, and other designated areas within the C arle organization.

  • Demonstrates procedural knowledge of chemical handling; able to dispose of biohazard spills.

  • Performs all housekeeping duties with the special needs of Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients in mind.

  • Able to perform and converse on proper infection control techniques and proper hand hygiene.
