Role Summary:

Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles. Strong knowledge of technical concepts in manufacturing technologies, as in machining, understanding of CMM, basic electrical / electronics. Understanding of special processes as in spot welding, brazing, and coating.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Manufacturing Specialist you will:

  • Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control

  • Including quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes, conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.

  • Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods

  • Communicates across direct organization

  • Interface with Customer Quality Organization including DCMA and FAA

  • Presents to senior leaders (SB / EB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy

  • Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions

  • Works on cross-functional projects / teams to deliver quality solutions for the business

  • Communicates across the function in area of expertise


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing.


  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
