Job Description Summary:

An Area Vice President, Health Systems is responsible for selling the entire portfolio of Option Care products and services by creating and executing business plans for assigned accounts to include Independent Delivery Networks (IDN), Independent Hospital Networks (IHN) and multi-hospital health systems.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for proactively developing and maintaining Senior/C-Suite level relationships with strategic partners to identify and qualify new business opportunities.

  • Develops and drives appropriate portfolio management strategy in collaboration with the Business Development, Managed Markets and Marketing Teams to expand and protect market share, optimize pricing strategy, and build long-term contractual agreements and relationships with strategic partners.

  • Responsible for understanding strategic priorities of assigned accounts positioning appropriate value-added programs for each assigned account.

  • Develops, communicates and implements business plans in collaboration with Core and Specialty Sales Teams to achieve strategic target business results.

  • Identifies and develops ongoing mutual opportunities for sales growth with key strategic accounts.

  • Drive, create and negotiate complex contract structures with IDNs, IHNs, and multi-hospital systems.

  • Collaborate with corporate contract management, compliance and legal teams to ensure all contracts meet internal management and legal requirements.

  • Prepare and deliver corporate proposals and branding/positioning presentations to key customers and decision makers.

  • Meet or exceed annual sales objectives for assigned accounts by mobilizing people to action across a multi-function entity, catalyzing growth and exerting organizational broad influence.

  • Influence organizational thinking on evolving healthcare landscape and partner with customers and key stakeholders to navigate systems on issues of healthcare reform, healthcare system consolidation, etc.
