Role purpose

Reporting to the Heathrow Optimisation Manager, the LHR ATM Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of over 100 ATMs and a team of ATM Co-ordinators, managing and coaching the ATM co-ordinators to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Key accountabilities

  • Daily management of a team of 10 ATM co-ordinators

  • Adhering to SOPs, policies and guidelines prescribed by the company

  • Drive availability targets to minimise downtime

  • Adherence to Travelex branding guidelines

  • People management including coaching, rostering implementation (sick cover, annual leave management), retention, recruitment, effective on boarding and performance management

  • Carry out spot checks, mini audits and inspections to ensure controls are in place

  • Select, train and develop front line staff and upskilling management on FLM issues

  • Manage communication for all site staff and management, i.e. daily calls, team meetings

  • Understanding of ATM performance at EBITDA level per ATM per month

  • Understanding of ATM availability per ATM per day / week / month across the estate and helping develop monitor and manage away poor performers

  • Helping implement new operational solutions across estate (Software / Hardware / Helpdesk / Monitoring tools etc.)

  • Facilitate ATM installations during night work with external contractors

  • Sharing AOB and ATM performance to senior management in Leadership meetings

  • Develop team members and hold effective Performance Discussions

  • Facilitate and encourage ATM coordinators to engage with Vibe and contribute to any workplace improvements identified from the survey/ feedback

  • Manage under performance in line with company policy

  • Manage stock control of ATM Parts – Proactively seeking cost saving solutions

  • Ordering ATM Parts for the Heathrow estate

  • Supporting the relationship with HAL to ensure all ATMs are compliant with HALs expectations for installs and availability

Role-specific experience and skills

  • High level of technical skills required to troubleshoot and resolve ATM faults

  • A demonstrable track record of delivery in the areas of key responsibility with a strong record of performance delivery in their area of expertise, through increased sales and cost management

  • Understanding of retail sales culture and ability to work closely with on-the-ground sales teams
