API Heat Transfer HR Representative in United States

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources operations. This position will be responsible for providing day to day support to API's Buffalo and Arcade facilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the day to day operations as it related to HR functions and responsibilities

  2. Complete internal processes to on-board new employees:

  • Schedule pre-employment checks in a timely manner

  • Assist in creating and communicating training/onboarding schedule

  • Assist in the completion of new hire paperwork/distribution of new hire information

  • Ensure all IT resources are arranged prior to start date, ie. computer, login information, email groups etc.

  • Prepare organizational announcements for approval prior to distribution

  1. Assist in data entry and report generation from payroll system

  2. Provide assistance, as requested, in the preparation and delivery of compensation related letters (e.g. EAF Forms, merit, promotion, offer).

  3. Employee file maintenance-scanning/storage of various employee documents into the Human Resource system

  4. Clerical assistance and data entry support will be required

  5. Assists with other HR projects and duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Human Resource degree required; 1-3 years of expereince prefered

  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks on time, juggle multiple deadlines and provide great customer service required.

  • Some prior exposures to the HR function whether through education or work experience required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word, and Excel required. Experience in Vizio or flowcharting software a plus.
