Description

This position can be located anywhere near a major airport.

Working with the VP of Sales and VP of National Accounts, formulate and implement sales promotion policies and procedures, as well as forecasting and inventories for the New Construction channel. Assist with overall sales promotion and marketing programs to meet regional sales and operational goals.

  • Develop regional sales strategies to achieve sales and margin goals for the company.

  • Originate new uses and markets for products and recommend distribution channels for them.

  • Call on existing or potential customers to establish and maintain relationships.

  • Manage product pricing decisions to meet sales and profit margin goals.

  • Generate reports on business sales activities and forecast sales potential to the sales and manufacturing management staff.

  • Keep informed of changes in assigned region that might affect product sales. Gather and share information regarding competitive product developments, sales strategies, etc.

  • Communicate regularly with sales and manufacturing management regarding issues.

Position Requirements

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • SAP knowledge a plus

  • Salesforce.com knowledge a plus

  • 10 years of prior industrial sales experience.

  • 5 years of sales management experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business or related field. MBA preferred.
