API Heat Transfer Traffic Coordinator in United States

Provide transportation services for outbound finished products and parts in a timely and efficient manner at the lowest possible cost

Generate necessary documentation including packing lists and bills of lading.

Generate export documents.

Advise Production and Sales departments on issues that may cause shipment delays.

Coordinate Freight pick-ups.

Prepare UPS documents and labels.

Provides the Sales department with freight cost estimates for customer quoting.

Coordinate exports order pick-ups with freight forwarders.

Consolidate shipments for same customer/destination into a single shipment for efficiency and lowest cost.

Files freight claims with transportation companies as needed.

Provide back-up to the Traffic Manager.

Associate degree in Business, Bachelor degree preferred, or equivalent compbination of education and transportation, logistics and shipping experience.

Minimum of two years of working knowledge of outbound transportation function, including exports.

Minimum of two years working knowledge of MRP and Microsoft office systems.

Knowledge of international trafficking a plus.
