Role Summary:

Specialist leads during sales process demonstration of MR products to prospective customers. Selects relevant images for tradeshows and presentations/brochures. Collaborates on projects with customers/develops commercial applications. Develops/sustains global and regional Reference sites. Provides support to sales teams, coordinates advanced application team study reporting, creates selling tools incl. proof-points and messaging and integrates inputs into the product roadmap from stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:

1.Contributes to the definition, design and refinement of products and services to address Customer needs, especially in the area of anatomy specific applications

2.Develops (clinical) competition intelligence to support the field with counter arguments and sells advantages including proof-point generation and support for marketing messages

3.Is comfortable discussing MR technology including advanced capabilities of the GE MR platform

4.Generates clinical database to address tender specific imaging requirements

5.Plans, conducts and reports customer related application projects

6.Communicates customer feedback to central and Product teams for pilots and NPIs, transfer (Clinical) expertise into product roadmap definition

7.Establishes and maintains close contacts and collaborations with external researchers (directly and through sales organization) to build a network of high profile customers by developing Advanced applications with them and create or sustain Reference sites

8.Participates in User Meetings and Medical Advisory Board meetings to build application roadmap and provides input to Product Marketing

9.Assists with the reporting of data at scientific congresses, customer seminars and internal training events

10.Supports the development, maintenance, improvement & implementation of working routines/standards for experimental procedures, reporting of consultancy projects, contracts with Customers

11.Identifies opportunities to use the results of process development projects in sales situations or marketing material. Facilitates and supports the transfer of this information into the corresponding marketing and product management teams

12.Provides product support to sales, marketing and demonstration teams

13.Performs complex data analysis in support of both on-going strategic and ad-hoc tactical projects

14.Assists with customer engagements, focus groups, user groups, advisory boards and other market-related activities to assist in the collection, definition and validation of market needs and requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or clinical field, or hospital registration

2.At least 5 yrs MR experience

3.Highly qualified in MR Clinical Applications / ARRT Credentials or recognized by similar

accreditation body

4.Customer contact experience

5.Experience in communicating scientific data (talks, posters, papers)

6.Ability to optimize MR parameters to improve image quality

7.Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working with a dynamic team environment

Desired Characteristics:

1.Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline preferred

2.Previous experience as MR Clinical Leader, MR Applications Specialist, MR Advanced Applications, or MR Clinical Development

3.Strength in communication and presentation skills

4.Teaching ability: present complex material/ techniques in comprehensible terms, present a professional image

5.Strong influencing skills

6.Fluency in English (spoken and written) and ideally another major European language

7.Creative, flexible and well-organized for optimized customer visits based on customer visit outcomes

8.Tracking and monitoring of customer visit success and integration into SFDC win/loss outcomes for both Headquarters and regional visits.
