This position will act as the Application Database Analyst for the Community Data Warehouse on the Oracle database platform.

Candidate will:

•Provide analysis and design support for production enhancements, problem tickets and other issue resolution.

•Manage and prioritize work between team members

•Follow SDLC documentation requirement for enhancements

•Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides

•Respond to production issues and determine next steps

•Recommend optimization for production processes.

The Database Analyst 4 will also assist the application development with the following tasks:

1.Code deployment (work request and CR).

2.Performance tuning.

3.Troubleshooting oracle database related errors.

4.Troubleshooting other database related errors. (Teradata, SQL server)

5.Work with developers/answer questions.

6.Support weekend patching.

7.Perform dba related requests - create new roles, drop/lock users, create new database links, copying data.

8.Manage password change.

9.Manage environment refresh.

10.Work with infrastructure DBA team on database related issues.

11.Work on database/environment related projects.

Candidates must:

•Be willing to work non-standard hours to support production execution or issue resolution

•Be willing to be on-call/pager support for production escalation

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of database design and administration experience
